July In Books

So Ramadan started in July which put a stop to my other activities because you know, 18 hours a day without food and water tend to make you less than agreeable to summer activities. So I read. And I read a lot. Okay fine, I usually read a lot but this time, I read even more than that.

    • 14 of them were review novels so I figured I’d get through them now rather than wait till school starts. The rest were from the library and some on my TBR pile. I went crazy. :D

  1. No water? We havn’t had a dry 18 seconds since March! Sorry, Irish joke. it would be a difficult time for me if I was to go through that. Is Eed (?) the celebration at the end? If so I hope you enjoy it. The list is impressive! Its near 1am here so I have to sign off (and do a last little bit of reading), but I will come back to the list. It warrants a second, decent comment. How did you select the reading (apart from reviews)?

    • Eid, and yes! It’s the celebration at the end where we eat and drink (though no alcohol :P) for um two weeks after. Some of the books I was sent (and requested) for review but I usually don’t read reviews where books are concerned until I’m done reading them. I read the synopses and if that doesn’t impress me, I don’t read it. I give everything the first 100 pages to reel me in.
